Use the keyboard to guide Fireboy and Watergirl through the maze, collecting diamonds along the way.
How do you control Fireboy and Watergirl?
To move Watergirl, use the A, W, and D keys, and to move Fireboy, use the arrow keys. Because fire and water do not mix, keep Fireboy out of the water and Watergirl out of the fire. Now that you understand the controls, let's go over some useful tips and tricks.
Avoid the green lake.
We know Fireboy and Watergirl can only go in water and on fire, but what about the green lake? Both Fireboy and Watergirl must avoid the green lake. Remember that if one of the characters dies, you will have to restart.
Work together.
It can be tempting to go ahead with one character and try to complete the level with them before moving on to the next, but there are many levels where this is simply impossible. To go through some stages, you must employ both characters to activate switches and buttons. Make sure to use Fireboy and Watergirl together to help you complete each level.
Study the Level Before
One piece of useful advice is to study the level before attempting to beat it. Take a moment to glance around the level and see what obstacles are in your path. Take note of the "danger" locations or those with green lakes. Once you know where the obstacles are, you can plan how to finish the level. Taking a moment to review the levels beforehand can help you beat them all.
Play with a friend!
Playing with a friend can be an excellent approach to completing all of the levels in Fireboy and Watergirl. One player can control Fireboy, and the other can control Watergirl. This divides the elemental duo's workload in half, allowing you to focus solely on one individual. Plus, who doesn't enjoy playing games with their friends?
If you're tired of Fireboy and Watergirl and looking for a new game to enjoy with your buddies, try Tag! You can play with a friend on the same computer and explore the map together, like in Fireboy and Watergirl.
Rather than working together, you'll engage in competition, striving to avoid labeling each other. To increase the intensity, up to four players can engage on the same device.
