EA Sports College Football 26 Set for July 10 Launch, Skipping PC Once Again

The highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 26 has officially been given a release date, and fans won't have to wait long to College Football 26 Coins hit the virtual gridiron. EA confirmed that the next entry in its revived college football series will release on July 10, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Much like its predecessor, however, it will not be coming to PC.

This announcement comes alongside new details about early access, pre-order incentives, and an MVP bundle pairing College Football 26 with Madden NFL 26. EA appears fully committed to pushing the momentum from last year’s hugely successful revival even further.

When and Where You Can Play College Football 26

Players eager to dive into College Football 26 can look forward to a three-day early access period, beginning July 7, by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition. Standard edition players will join the action when the game officially launches on July 10.

The early access window provides an important opportunity for fans to get a head start in competitive modes like Ultimate Team and Road to Glory, setting the tone for their seasons before the broader community joins in.

Importantly, the game will only be available on current-gen consoles—PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This decision is consistent with last year’s approach but leaves PC gamers sidelined once again.

EA’s Continuing Console-Only Strategy

Despite the success of CUT 26 Coins cross-platform games and growing demand for PC versions, EA is keeping College Football 26 a console-exclusive title. Meanwhile, Madden NFL 26 will still release across multiple platforms, including PC, Steam, and Epic Games.
