Necromancer - Blood Wave Core Build Dominates
The Necromancer is once again a powerhouse, but Diablo 4 Items this time thanks to clever use of chaos perks.
Alter the Balance turns Blood Wave into a core skill, removes its cooldown, and makes it cost Essence.
Alternating Alterations gives massive multipliers when alternating core skills.
Combined, this transforms Blood Wave into a spammable, hard-hitting skill with incredible scaling. Pair it with Bloodless Scream moved to a chaos armor slot, and Necros free up weapon slots for more DPS.
Other builds:
Bone Spear remains solid.
Skeletal Mages show promise, though minion AI still drags them down.
Expect Blood Wave Necro to be one of the premier boss-killing builds of Season 10.
PTR Verdict: Meta-defining powerhouse.
Rogue - Still Struggling, but Death Trap Shines
Unfortunately, Rogue is still lagging behind the other classes.
Death Trap builds remain the safest and strongest option, especially for Infernal Hordes.
Twisting Blades, a Season 9 favorite, loses synergy with new chaos perks and drops off in power.
The new reload-based unique adds theoretical burst DPS, but in practice, it's clunky and lacks proper UI tracking.
Chaos perk synergies:
A Beast Cornered + Marred Guard can make Rogues stronger by lowering health to boost damage, but the tradeoff in survivability makes it risky.
PTR Verdict: Playable but Buy Diablo 4 materials underpowered compared to other classes. Death Trap is the go-to.
